Dr. Carsten Schmidt
Carsten Schmidt is currently post-doctoral researcher at the
University of Mannheim
and head of the experimental laboratory of the SFB 504,
Project
Z2.
In fall 2001 he received a doctoral degree in
Economics and Information Systems from
Humboldt University Berlin, where he was research fellow
in the National Resarch Center SFB373
"Quantification and Simulation of Economic Processes".
He joined the strategic interaction group at the
Max Planck Institute of Economics, Jena and lectured at the University of Jena
and Karlsruhe.
In 2004/5 he was visiting assistant professor in Information Systems
at Humboldt University Berlin.
Carsten Schmidt is
currently working on electronic market design, information
systems economics and strategy, Internet economics, and experimental
and behavioral economics.
